Welcome... E-Mail Contact at: t@30cal.comMy name is Tom Noveske, and I live in a small mountain community in Grants Pass, Oregon. If one was to drive just over a half hour in most any direction you would be in a remote wilderness area complete with bears and mountain lions. Life is good, and I am a generally happy guy with a smile on my face. I'm the type that tends to see the blessings and goodness that surrounds me, both in my day to day life situations and in the people I come in contact with. I love America, and all that it stands for and have little use for people that are negative and search endlessly for something to grip about. For all the bad press some people give America, I have still never seen them lining up and waiting to get out. There is no place better... My Interests...Actually I got on eBay after much procrastination, as I really like people and much prefer to do my horse trading face to face. But, considering my interests and the limited exposure I have living in flyover country, I gave it a shot. Even though I am not one of those power sellers, I have friends who have been eBayers since before they went public so I am well aware of what is required to be a good eBayer. And its time I do my own bidding for odds and ends I need, instead of having friends do it for me. My experience on eBay was kind of fun, and the customers who bought from me were great so far. The feeling appears to be mutual, as my FeedBack rating is 100% positive. As of February 20, 2008, eBay/Paypal (Paypal is owned by eBay) has altered their terms and fees, that make using their venue no longer acceptable for many sellers. My use for eBay, for being a buyer as well as a seller, was to locate or sell unique items at a fair price. The direction eBay is going is they no longer want small guys, and are looking to be the market place for mass marketing of new products... I comment more on this elsewhere on my web site. One of my life long interests is silver and gold, mostly U.S. silver coinage, especially silver dollars. I'm an older guy on the downhill side of fifty and as far back as I can remember my birthday gift from my grandparents was a real silver dollar. I built a little wooden safe and kept my little treasures under lock and key and would take them out from time to time to stack them up. I also love motorcycles, another life long interest, especially old ones that still have carburetors, mechanical ignitions, and manual kick starters. So that means I restore old vintage motorcycles. Without eBay or some other alternative online venues it would be impossible to locate long out of production parts needed. So historically on eBay I, on occasion, have sold some silver (first hobby), to buy parts for vintage motorcycle (second hobby). I have many other interests, and keep a home page at the domain of ... 30cal.com ...
